Ashwood is a zero-proof spirit, a category that shares the same visual challenges as premium beverages in the health and wellness space. Glass, liquid, condensation, and a crowded shelf. Ashwood was created to prove that zero-proof can carry the same weight, craft, and confidence as any traditional whiskey. Every visual was built entirely in 3D before a single bottle ever existed.

The Challenge

Non-alcoholic spirits are one of the fastest growing categories in functional wellness beverages. But most zero-proof brands look like they’re apologizing for what they’re not. The challenge was to build a zero-proof whiskey brand with the visual authority of a heritage distillery — proving that alcohol-free can carry the same craft, confidence, and shelf presence as any traditional spirit. Every visual built entirely in 3D before a single bottle existed.

The Process

Everything started with the heritage of whiskey bottle design and what the non-alcoholic space was conspicuously missing. The bottle went through multiple rounds of hand-drawn concepts before landing on the final structural form. The ash tree became the heart of the design — a symbol of strength and endurance across cultures. Real ash leaves were traced and modeled directly into the glass, creating an embossed botanical texture that wraps the entire bottle.

The liquid simulation was built by studying real whiskey — observing how color shifts from light at the top to deep amber at the bottom as light passes through. The label system combines copper foil stamping, textured paper, and a cork closure to ground everything in genuine heritage craft.

The Result

Ashwood launched with a complete brand world rendered entirely in 3D. Photorealistic bottle shots detailed enough that people consistently mistake them for studio photography. Beyond product imagery the “All Smoke, No Alcohol” campaign concept delivers complete ad creative ready for social, digital, and print. Because everything lives as a 3D asset, the brand can generate new angles, swap backgrounds, test label variations, and resize for any platform without a single reshoot.
