The Challenge
Most wellness beverage brands play it safe visually. Soft colors, nature photography, handwritten fonts. Wild Root wanted the opposite. A dark, bold, high-energy presence that communicated raw fermentation and natural power without looking clinical or chaotic. The challenge was building that world entirely in 3D, across three SKUs, before a single can was produced.
The Process
I developed a dark mode packaging system using deep matte blacks as the foundation, letting the fruit ingredients pop with vibrance against the contrast. The can architecture was designed as a cohesive system across three flavors: Raspberry Vanilla, Peach Ginger, and Watermelon Basil, so every SKU felt part of the same family while each flavor had its own visual energy.
The campaign creative was where the project came to life. I used advanced fluid simulation to capture the explosive flavor profile of each variant, creating hyper-realistic liquid splash visuals that traditional photography simply cannot achieve. Perfect condensation, dynamic pours, and a complete digital environment built to showcase the product under ideal lighting conditions every time.
The Result
Wild Root launched with a complete visual system across all three SKUs, high-energy campaign assets for Instagram and web, and e-commerce ready product imagery. Every asset was generated from the same set of 3D files, meaning new flavors, label updates, or seasonal variants can be produced without a single reshoot. The brand looks wild, intentional, and completely at home next to the premium end of the wellness beverage shelf.
