Wild Root: The Art of Raw Fermentation

Kombucha branding often falls into two traps: overly medicinal or chaotic hippie aesthetics. Wild Root needed to break that mould. They wanted a visual identity that felt premium, bold, and rooted in the raw power of nature.

We developed a Dark Mode packaging system that uses deep matte blacks to make the fruit ingredients pop with vibrancy. But the real challenge was the campaign creative. We used advanced fluid simulation to visualize the explosive flavour profile, capturing the chaotic beauty of fermentation in a way that traditional photography simply couldn’t. The result is a brand that feels wild, untamed, and impossible to ignore on the shelf.

What we did

  • Brand Identity: Custom logo and editorial typographic system.

  • Packaging Architecture: Designed a cohesive can system across 3 SKUs (Raspberry Vanilla, Peach Ginger, Watermelon Basil).

  • Fluid Dynamics: Created hyper-realistic splash simulations to visualize the effervescence and flavour explosion.

  • Campaign Creative: Produced a suite of high energy marketing assets for Instagram and web headers.

  • Virtual Production: Built a complete digital environment to showcase the product in perfect condensation and lighting conditions.
