Breaking Boundaries: The Centre for Entertainment Arts Campaign Unleashes Creativity in Calgary, Redefining Alberta’s Stereotypes for Aspiring Minds
The Centre for Entertainment Arts campaign target domestic young adults or high school students with a passion for entertainment arts in cities, including Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, and Saskatoon. Most prospective students have had to consider Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal if they want top-tier education in this field. Bow Valley College CEA being in Calgary gives us a significant competitive advantage to acquire students.
Creativity thrives in wild places. Calgary’s two unique selling points (USPs) are that it is home to “surprising creative minds” and is located in Alberta—a province known for its mountains, wildlife, and rugged terrain. But when we juxtapose these familiar settings with the fantastical ones of space exploration, things take a fantastical turn. The CEA program attracts the kinds of minds that can explore our world wherever they are from. This led us to create a false tourism ad that plays on Alberta’s stereotypes, in order to show prospective students just how imaginative their minds can be.
Bringing Fantastical Realms to Life: A Seamless Fusion of 3D Rendering, and Artistic Refinement in Blender and Photoshop
I employed multiple software tools to create this scene. In Blender, I rigged the creature and positioned it to simulate an approach towards the fishman. Using perspective coordinates, I set up 3D scenes for rendering high-quality 3D images. Blender afforded me the capability to align the perspective with the background image plane and adjust lighting to match the environmental light. Finally, in Photoshop, I added the finishing touches, including color correction.
Crafting Cosmic Wonders: A Journey into Enormous Scale Using Blender and Photoshop
I utilized multiple software tools to create this scene. In Blender, I positioned and scaled the spaceship to convey an enormous scale, adding lights and engine thrusts for additional effect and to create movement. Using perspective coordinates, I set up 3D scenes for rendering high-quality 3D images. Blender provided the capability to align the perspective with the background image plane and adjust lighting to match the environmental light. Finally, in Photoshop, I added the finishing touches, including color correction.
Online Engagement Triumph: The Impact of Creativity Unleashed!
It was great to see the impact the creative had, with people being engaged online and enjoying the humor in the concept.
From Alberta’s Landscapes to Galactic Classrooms: A Success in imagination
The commercial starts off tying in the Travel Alberta theme and the creativity of the spaceship. We then highlight what students will be creating and the classroom environment. This commercial was on paid social media, YouTube, and nationally at Cineplex. The commercial created great traction, and the college exceeded their registration goals.
