Rogers ‘Self Protect’ Home Security Expands to Western Canada

As part of a team tasked with creating learning experiences for Rogers’ western expansion, we introduced the Self Protect home security solution. Self Protect is a self-managed home security service that allows customers to manage their homes from anywhere. The service includes support for cameras and wired doorbell cameras with real-time two-way voice functionality and motion alerts. Additionally, the Ignite HomeConnect app provides control over Wi-Fi and home security.

The main challenge in designing these learning pages was the absence of product hardware images, as a photoshoot of the products had not yet occurred. This is where we relied on my 3D Product Visualization skills.

3D Product Visualization

Designing a new product page is challenging when a photoshoot of the products has not yet taken place. This is where 3D product visualization can be a game-changer for launching a new product, especially when you lack images of the physical product in situ. By creating detailed and accurate 3D renderings, we generate high-quality, photorealistic images of Rogers’ new Self Protect products from various angles and in different settings, ensuring a professional presentation without the need for physical prototypes. This technology allows for contextual placement, putting the products in virtual environments that mimic real-life settings, enhancing the realism and appeal to potential customers. Additionally, 3D visualization is cost- and time-efficient, eliminating the need for costly physical photoshoots and allowing for rapid iterations. This means you can quickly make changes and generate new images if there are updates to the product design or marketing strategy, ensuring your visuals are always up-to-date and compelling.
