Elevating Digital Experiences with Shaw

Collaborating with Shaw, a leading provider of internet and TV services in Western Canada, I played a central role in designing pages for residential services. Designing within an existing design system presents several challenges. A primary issue is the constraint on creativity, as I had to adhere to predefined components and styles, which can limit the pursuit of innovative solutions. Additionally, integrating new features or making modifications to the design system can be complex and time-consuming, requiring careful consideration of consistency and compatibility. I needed to have a deep understanding of the design system’s principles and guidelines. Lastly, balancing uniformity with the need for customization to address specific project requirements can be a delicate task, requiring a nuanced approach to maintain the integrity of the overall design system.
